Question 1: Is the ProReck PA system a good choice for live performances, especially for smaller to medium venues?
Answer by Metal:
Absolutely! I use a lot of PA equipment, and I was a bit hesitant to leave my high-end gear at home, but this ProReck system really impressed me. It performed great for a medium venue gig, and paired with my air mixer and wireless in-ears, it covered everything we needed for a solid show. The bass is awesome and the highs are crisp, even though it lacks some mids, the general audience wouldn’t really notice. It’s super lightweight, doesn’t take up much space, and gets pretty loud. For the price, it’s definitely a steal. While I’m not sure about the long-term durability since the system is still fairly new, the fact that it can also be used as passive speakers if the power amp fails gives me peace of mind. I’d definitely buy it again!
Question 2: Is the ProReck PA system a good choice for live performances, especially for smaller to medium venues?
Here is what one of our customers, Metal, had to say: Absolutely! As someone who uses a lot of PA equipment, I was initially hesitant to leave my high-end gear at home, but this ProReck system really impressed me. It performed exceptionally well for a medium-sized gig, and when paired with my air mixer and wireless in-ears, it provided everything we needed for a solid show. The bass hits hard, and the highs are crystal clear. While it may lack some mids, the general audience wouldn't notice at all. It's lightweight, doesn't take up much space, and gets incredibly loud. For the price, it's an unbeatable deal. While I'm still unsure about the long-term durability since the system is fairly new, the fact that it can also be used as passive speakers if the power amp fails gives me peace of mind. I would definitely purchase it again!
Question 3: Are these ProReck speakers easy to set up and store?
Answer by Jamy:
Yes, they are! Setting them up was super straightforward, and I was able to do it by myself in about 30-45 minutes without rushing. Adjustments will be easy for future shows, so I’m not worried about that. The real win for me was how easy they were to break down and store. I was a bit concerned about the weight, but they’re built with handles and places to grab, so carrying them to my basement wasn’t too bad at all, even though I’m not in the best shape! They’re solidly built, and everything was well packaged, so I’m confident in their durability. Really happy with the setup overall!

Question 5: How well do the ProReck speakers perform at events, especially with bass and clarity?
Answer by Paul:
These speakers really thump! When I connected them to my mixer, the sound was amazing. The tops are crystal clear with zero static, and the subs really hit hard—especially when the bass hits your chest. I had a corporate group on the dance floor and they were loving it. The speakers work best as a pair, so don’t just bring one side and expect it to perform the same. But the best part? They fit in my SUV along with all my other gear, so they're easy to transport. Definitely worth it!
Question 6: How does the ProReck speaker system perform for small DJ events and karaoke, and how was the setup experience?

Question 7: Is the ProReck subwoofer worth the price, and how does it perform for karaoke and small shows?
Answer by Starrtyme:
Absolutely, the subwoofer is a fantastic deal, especially for the price I paid—just $235 on sale! The crossover network inside ensures that no bass is sent to the tops, which really helps improve vocals for karaoke. The bass hits hard for its size, and it works great for karaoke and even decent for dance music. The top section has plenty of power, and I’d even recommend using two of these for a small band. Honestly, it’s the best value I’ve ever gotten from ProReck! I also compared it to the 3200 and EX 800, and in my opinion, this system has better bass and is lighter. It’s not TWS, but for most shows, you don’t really need it. One of these systems can run two subs and two tops and easily handle a crowd of 150 people. And when I had an issue with the array amp on my second unit, ProReck sent me a whole new sub, no questions asked—great customer service! 5 stars all around.
